Refund Information — Product Preview

Why no refund promise is active and what must be verified before payments

Product preview — not effectiveContent reviewed 2026/08/15

Status: alts.video has no active paid offer. This page is not an effective refund policy and does not promise a refund window.

Current payment boundary

  • Checkout and live payment are not enabled.
  • The Preview runtime requires payment and generic credit-distribution gates to remain disabled and payment credentials to remain absent.
  • The prices and credit packages inherited from the application template are not alts.video offers.
  • Local test credits have no stated cash value.
  • Repository tests use deterministic fake output; the public Preview exposes no generation and creates no external provider charge.

The Studio can release an internal Credit Hold when the applicable Attempt fails. That ledger behavior is not a cash-refund promise.

Why a refund window is not published

A truthful refund policy depends on the actual payment provider, merchant structure, launch regions, product type, credit expiry, model failure policy, tax treatment, and consumer-law requirements. Those inputs are not final.

No seven-day trial, 30-day refund, “refund at any time,” or similar template promise applies to alts.video.

Decisions required before payment

Before checkout can be enabled, alts.video must define and rehearse:

  • what users purchase and how product credits relate to chargeable Attempts;
  • automatic release or compensation for provider and product failures;
  • cancellation, unused-credit, duplicate-charge, and unauthorized-payment handling;
  • refund request, review, notification, and settlement timelines;
  • chargeback and webhook behavior; and
  • the payment provider's regional, tax, and withdrawal rules.

The effective policy must match those tested behaviors and receive separate publication approval.
